When you create an account, we collect:

• Full name
• Clinic name
• Password (encrypted)

When you subscribe, our payment processor collects:

• Cardholder name
• Card number (tokenized, not stored by us)
• Expiration date
• Billing address

We do NOT store your full card number, CVV, or PIN. Payment data is processed by a PCI DSS compliant payment provider.

We may also collect:

• App usage statistics
• Feature usage patterns
• Error logs (for troubleshooting)
• Device information (OS, app version)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Process payments and subscriptions
• Send important notifications (billing, updates, security)
• Improve our product and user experience
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Security

Desktop app data is stored locally on your device and encrypted at rest. Data transmission uses TLS 1.3. We implement access controls and monitoring.

Payment data is tokenized and handled by a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant provider. We do not store sensitive card details.

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal data
• Share patient data with third parties
• Use your data for advertising

• Withdraw consent: opt out of non-essential processing

6. Data Retention

• Account data: until account deletion + 30 days
• Payment records: 7 years (legal requirement)
• Usage logs: 90 days
• Error logs: 30 days
• Patient data: until you delete it

The desktop application does not use cookies. The website may use essential cookies and analytics cookies (with your consent).

8. Children's Privacy

DentaSync is not intended for users under 18.
